1 The cartridges are first disassembled and cleaned.
2 Toner is added in one of two ways. For some cartridges, the toner is added by the bottle. Other cartridges are filled using our automatic dispenser.
3 The cartridges are then reassembled.
4 During our quality assurance step, we sample random cartridges to ensure our product is meeting or exceeding industry standards.
We weigh the toner from a sample cartridge before and after a print run to make sure that the yield (ie. the number of pages printed per volume of toner) is equal to or better than the standard.
We use a densitometer to measure the toner density which ensures our cartridges are delivering a solid black while consuming the optimal amount of toner.
5 The cartridges are cleaned and a date label is put on them before they are packaged.
6 Finally, our fully remanufactured, cleaned and packaged cartridges are put in storage ready to be delivered to our Lower Mainland clients.
